In a groundbreaking effort to combat urban violence, YOUU Health announced it is using its novel YOUUniverse behavioral health platform to empower municipal governments with an interconnected network to identify potential offenders—including gang members—and engage them in productive behavioral modification programs. It's first large-scale initiative is currently being implemented in Georgia.
The YOUUniverse platform revolutionizes a “no wrong door” engagement collaboration by bringing together social services, judicial courts, law enforcement, emergency services, faith institutions, healthcare providers, school systems and charitable agencies.
By acting as a unified team, within a single platform alongside participants, these entities aim to address key social determinants of health, fostering less violence promoting better outcomes at scale. Urban violence is a complex issue that cannot be solved in isolation.

Drawing inspiration from research by YOUU Health’s national provider network and judicial court clients, The YOUUniverse incorporates strategies proven to reduce crime and violence through behavior modification. Techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mentorship programs, and community engagement initiatives are integrated to help individuals develop self-control, alter decision-making processes, and reshape social norms.
